Associate Professor of Criminal Justice & Criminology

Dr. Collins teaches Introduction to Criminal Justice, Introduction to Juvenile Justice, Introduction to Criminal Justice Research & Statistics, Juvenile Law & Policy, and Criminal Justice & Mental Health Systems 

• Research interests include criminological theory (particularly strain theory), juvenile justice and delinquency, and life-course criminology
• Served as a volunteer victim advocate for The Victim Center in Springfield, 蘑菇短视频 and completed an internship for KLASS (Kids Learning 蘑菇短视频 Social Skills) and Burrell Behavioral Health in Branson, 蘑菇短视频
• Dr. Collins serves as the Director of the Criminal Justice Institute at UCM
• She is a faculty sponsor for the Juvenile Justice Association (JJA) on campus
