Dr. Caitlin Imgrund earned her Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Kansas. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech- Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed as a speech-language pathologist.

Dr. Imgrund鈥檚 research and clinical interests focus on developmental language disorders in young children. She studies how language develops in early childhood and how professionals can better identify children who may be at risk for language delays or disorders. Her work also looks at ways to assess young children鈥檚 communication skills so that they can receive support and intervention as early as possible.

At the 蘑菇短视频, Dr. Imgrund teaches undergraduate and graduate courses related to child language development, language disorders in children, early intervention, and evidence-based practice in communication disorders. She is also involved in mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in research and clinical training. Dr. Imgrund facilitates Babbles to Books, an early intervention program that provides students with opportunities to learn naturalistic language facilitation strategies while supporting communication development in young children.
