WARRENSBURG - Enrollment is underway at the Central 蘑菇短视频 Police Academy at the 蘑菇短视频 for summer and fall 2016 classes.

Following a record enrollment of 30 students for the upcoming spring 2016 course, the summer course convenes May 2, with completion scheduled for Aug. 25, 2016. The fall course begins Aug. 15 and ends Dec. 15, 2016. The 16-week course curriculum fulfills requirements for 蘑菇短视频 Peace Officer Standards and Training certification and also provides 15 hours of undergraduate college credit.

The Central 蘑菇短视频 Police Academy and Institute for Public Safety, a division of the 蘑菇短视频 Safety Center at the 蘑菇短视频, is a basic law enforcement academy and full-service continuing education provider for those interested in pursuing or furthering a career in public safety, including law enforcement, fire, emergency medical services and homeland security personnel.

The CMPA is approved by the 蘑菇短视频 POST Commission to provide the basic peace officer training. Formerly known as the National Police Institute, the CMPA is a 600-plus hour basic academy. The mission of the CMPA is to make its graduates competitive in the job market, provide experiential learning in a real world environment, and reduce the time to degree completion for students at a competitive cost.

Applications received for summer and fall 2016 enrollment will be screened, and interviews will be scheduled beginning in January 2016.
